Joe Willis’ Interview with for the Excellence in Training Academy

podcast-header1Last week I had a conversation about Inter-Cultural Skills and Leadership with Brian Willis of the Excellence in Training Academy.  Brian has a podcast he does for his members and I was honored to participate and discuss the Inter-Cultural Skills and Leadership (ICSL) Program that I developed for Team One Network.  ICSL was initially developed for police departments to strengthen their relationships with the diverse communities they serve.  However, after running the program a few times I’ve realized that the program has much more potential than just the law enforcement community.

I really enjoyed talking with Brian about this – no relation by the way – but he’s a hell of a guy and truly an inspirational person.  Seriously – go check out his site (and sign up for a free month with my coupon code ‘eitinterviewee‘).

In this pod cast we talk about all kinds of stuff related to leading and working in diverse environments.  This was my first Podcast interview ever so I hope people find the information valuable.  I’ve gotten pretty good at explaining three-days worth of material in three days.  But it’s still a little challenging to talk about it in 60-minutes… 🙂

One of my favorite parts is when we talk about “Courageous Conversations.

So here’s the interview – I hope you find some value in it…
